HealthCredSTAT Services, Inc. (“HCSS”) collects certain personal information through its Websites as well as its family of products and/or related services (each a “Service” or the “Services”). Except as expressly set forth in this Policy, HCSS will not use any information obtained in any other manner or for any other purpose.

1. HCSS and its authorized partners and third parties may place cookies and other information gathering technologies on your browser. These technologies provide HCSS with personal information including information about devices and networks you utilize to access HCSS’s Websites, and other information regarding your interactions with HCSS’s Websites. You may opt-out or block cookies at any time.

2. HCSS may retain and personally identifiable information provided to HCSS.

3. HCSS may use web beacons, tags and scripts on HCSS’s Websites or in emails sent to authorized users.

4. HCSS reserves the right to update its Privacy Policy at any time. Any such updates shall be reflected on this page. Any registered users or clients may receive notifications of such changes. 
HCSS follows generally accepted standards to protect any personal information obtained, including the use of firewalls, password protection, encryption, secure socket layer and take other physical security measures. HCSS also places internal restrictions on whom within HCSS may access such personal information.

We may use Local Storage Objects (“LSOs”) such as HTML5 to store content information and preferences. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our Websites or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML5 to collect and store information. 


A. Logs:
As is true with most websites and services delivered over the Internet, we gather certain information and store it in log files when you interact with our Websites and Services. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses as well as browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, your mobile carrier, and system configuration information. Occasionally, we connect personal information to information gathered in our log files as necessary to improve our Websites and Services. In such a case, we would treat the combined information in accordance with this Policy. HCSS requires this information in order for the Website and Services to work as optimally as possible (for example, to display content correctly and to keep the Website and Services secure), the processing of these personal data is therefore necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by HCSS and are stored for 1 year.

B. Analytics:
We collect analytics information when you use the Websites to help us improve them. We may also share anonymous data about your actions on our Websites with third- party service providers of analytics services. We also use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile application on your device. This software may record information such as how often you use the mobile application, the events that occur within the mobile application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the mobile application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application. The processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by HCSS in order to improve services and will not be retained for longer than permitted by law.

5. Information We Collect from Clients through our Services Account and Registration Information:

A. Accounts:
We ask for and may collect personal information about you such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information, as well as certain related information like your company name and website name, when you register for an account to access or utilize one or more of our Services (an “Account”). We also ask for and collect personal information such as an email address and a name or alias from any individual that you authorize to log into and utilize our Services in connection with your Account. 

This intermediary is not permitted to store, retain, or use your billing information for any purpose except for credit card processing on our behalf.

We refer to any information described above as “Account Information” for the purposes of this Policy. The processing of your Account Information in this context is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party in connection with the use of our Service. You cannot register for an Account and make use of our services without providing us with these personal details. 

B. Other Submissions:
We ask for and may collect personal information from you when you submit web forms on our Websites or as you use interactive features of the Websites, including, participation in surveys, contests, promotions, sweepstakes, programs (including reseller, referral, beta, and early access program applications), requesting customer support, or otherwise communicating with us. The processing of personal information is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by HCSS, in order to interact with you. 

6. Information We Collect from Other Sources: 
The Websites may include social media features, such as the Facebook “Like” button, and widgets, such as sharing tools or other interactive mini-programs that operate on our Websites. These features may collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address, identify the page you are visiting on the Websites, and may set a cookie to ensure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Websites. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

9. Sharing of Information Collected:

A. Third-Party Service Providers:
We share information, including personal information, with our third-party service providers that we use to provide hosting for and maintenance of our Websites, application development, backup, storage, payment processing, email notification service, analytics and other services for us. These third-party service providers may have access to or process your personal information for the purpose of providing these services for us. We do not permit our third-party service providers to use the personal information that we share with them for their marketing purposes or for any other purpose than in connection with the services they provide to us.

B. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement Requests; Protection of Our Rights:

Moreover, we may share your personally identifiable information and/or aggregate information with a parent, subsidiary or affiliate entity in our corporate family. We may transfer your personally identifiable information and/or aggregate information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which HCSS participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of HCSS’s assets to which the Websites or the Services relate.

D. With Your Consent:
We may also share personal information with third parties when we have your consent to do so.

10. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information
We will retain your personal information for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is completed. 
For personal information that we process on behalf of our Clients, we will retain such personal information in accordance with the terms of our agreement with them, subject to applicable law.

Upon request we will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal information. If you are a Client or otherwise provide us with personal information in connection with your use of our Websites or Services, we will delete this information upon your request, provided that, notwithstanding such request, this information may be retained for as long as you maintain an Account for our Services, or as needed to provide you with our Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

12. Children’s Privacy
We recognize the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. The Websites are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not target its services or the Websites to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If you become aware that we are processing the personal information of children under the age of 18, please contact us and we will delete such data as soon as possible.

The Websites may provide links to other websites or resources over which we do not have control (“External Web Sites”). 14. SMS Communications Policy

HealthCredSTAT Services, Inc. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information, including your mobile phone number, to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use SMS (text messaging) solely to communicate with you in real time regarding service-related matters, including credentialing updates, compliance requirements, appointment coordination, and customer support communications. We do not use SMS to send marketing, advertising, or sales messages.

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from HealthCredSTAT Services, Inc. related to our services. Message frequency will vary based on your engagement and service needs. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, you may reply HELP or contact us directly using the information provided on our website.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information communicated via SMS.
